Saying “no” to resolutions

For REAL Social Workers I stopped making New Year resolutions many years ago.  I, like most others, quit before the end of January. This year, however,  I felt compelled to make a commitment to myself and to my business. Instead of making resolutions, I decided to choose a theme that would govern my actions and behaviors for the year.  My theme  is consistency.  Consistent actions yield consistent results.  What are you compelled to accomplish this year?  Is it losing weight?  Is it finding a new job or career? Perhaps you want to find your niche?  Instead of making a singularly focused resolution, commit to a theme that will have a ripple effect through all aspects of your life.

Share your New Year theme in the comments. Like the M.L. Bailey Consultants, Inc. facebook page and post your comment there.
