How was Your day?
You arrive home and the first question your spouse, partner, significant other asks is “how was your day?” You answer “great!” “I had a good day.” Take a moment to reflect on what made this particular day a good one for you. Take it a step further and consider the events or actions that make an entire week a good week.
One step to finding your niche is recognizing the actions and events that resonate with your image of a satisfying work experience. Once you understand what turns you on, so to speak, incorporate more of these actions into your day. Position yourself so as to experience the events more often. Finally, make a habit of reflecting on the experiences of your good days.
